A comprehensive evaluation unfolds across several stages — each one building toward a clearer, more complete picture of who you are.
01 Intake
We start with a thorough intake conversation to understand your history, your concerns, and what you're hoping to learn. This is where we begin building the foundation for everything that follows.
02 Data gathering
Next comes the information-gathering phase. This includes standardized rating forms and questionnaires completed by you, and where relevant, by family members, teachers, or others who know you well. Seeing how experiences show up across different settings and relationships is often where the most important patterns begin to emerge.
03 Testing
We meet for in-person or telehealth testing sessions where I administer a carefully selected battery of standardized assessments. These are tailored to your unique presentation and referral questions — not a one-size-fits-all checklist.
04 Review and integration
This is where a psychologist's training matters most. I spend significant time reviewing and synthesizing everything gathered: your history, the rating forms, the test results, and all the context in between. The goal is to understand what the full picture says, not just what any single piece suggests.
05 Feedback
We meet to go over the results in a collaborative way. You'll leave with a clear understanding of the findings, what they mean for your life, and what next steps might look like going forward.
06 Report
Following the feedback session, a comprehensive written report is prepared that documents the full findings of your evaluation. This report includes relevant history, a summary of results, diagnostic impressions, and tailored recommendations to guide your next steps. The report is typically completed within four weeks of your feedback session.
