Focused Psychological Evaluations
A focused psychological evaluation is a targeted evaluation for when you have a specific question and need clarity about one part of the picture. Rather than looking at everything, we focus on the area that matters most to you right now, such as attention, learning, or autism. Through a combination of interviews, questionnaires, and standardized tests chosen specifically for you, we work together to understand your strengths and needs in that area, so you can get clear answers that make sense of your experiences and guide the support you deserve. Psychologists are uniquely trained to administer, score, and interpret specialized tests that enable this level of clarity, offering more than other providers may be able to.
A focused evaluation might be the right fit for the following reasons:
You want to know about one specific thing, and your history does not suggest broader concerns.
You were evaluated in the last year or two and have one new or unanswered question.
You are in need of cognitive or academic testing only.
